Kristy loves sharing stories from her many years on the foster care frontlines. She enjoys encouraging others to connect in the craziness of child welfare.
She is an advocate for foster mamas and thrilled to speak about how to keep saying yes in the midst of the heartache. Her experience with over fifty foster children has given her wisdom and a greater understanding of how to do the hard in everyday life, friendship, managing biological children, reunifications, the judicial system and marriage.
She is active in her community and co-founder of Foster Florida, a non-profit mobilizing the church and community to wrap around and support frontline foster families as they open their homes to the most vulnerable.
